WELLS, MAINE: The annual Atlantic Invitational Wrestling
Tournament took place this past Saturday at Wells High School. For
local favorites Sundaes at the Beach, it was the perfect time and placed
to give something back to the community.
Sundaes owners Bob and Natalie Heleniak donated their time and award-winning
ice cream to help raise money for the schools athletic boosters club and
The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.
"The local kids have been such a big part of our success, and this was
a great chance to give something back to the community. We hope to
be a part of this tournament’s annual tradition", said Heleniak.
Serving up two scoops for two dollars, Sundae at the Beach raised nearly
$500.00. Half of the proceeds will go back to the Warrior’s Athletic
Booster’s and the other half will be donated to the Barbara Bush Children’s
Hospital.
Sundaes at the Beach opened to rave reviews this past spring.
Now famous for their "Make Your Sundae Bar", Sundaes frozen desserts including
super-premium ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet and Italian ice are all
handmade on site. Located in the "orange building" at 231 Post Rd.
