| Locally owned and operated, Sundaes features Award Winning ice creams, frozen yogurts, sorbets and Italian ice for a dairy free option and No sugar added ice creams, all of which are made on site from April through November. Now famous for their Make your OWN Sundae Bar featuring made in Maine hot fudge, delicious hot caramel, marshmallow, strawberry and peanut butter sauces, peanuts, sprinkles, crushed cookies, shredded coconut, cherries, and of course "fresh homemade" whipped cream. If you’re too stuffed for a sundae, then a cup or a fresh baked homemade waffle cone would be great choice to soothe your soul!
Sundaes At The Beach also offers a variety of kid and family friendly favorites like fresh ground, never frozen flame-broiled burgers, fresh Maine fried clams (summer only), quarter pound grilled lobster rolls, a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken tenders, hotdogs, wraps, sweet potato fries and more.
The taste and texture of the amazing flavor combinations, a comfort food menu, “Juke Box Gold” style music, bright colors and the energy and smiles of an exceptional staff combine to excite the senses and create a truly special experience.
Guests can enjoy their meals and dessert in an air conditioned dining room, sit outside on a covered deck or sit in the sun on picnic tables just off the deck. There is a ramp for wheelchair accessibility and parking in the front and rear of the building.
Located at 231 Post Road (Rt. One), look for the “orange building” with the giant waffle cone sign on the beach side of the road. Conveniently located along the trolley route, which has a stop just next door, Sundaes accepts cash, travelers checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. They also sell gift cards in any denomination.
